AgroAndino commercializes the agricultural products of small farmers from the Peruvian Andes.
The Peruvian Andes are impassable with difficult access to sell agricultural products in the coastal cities. This is one of the reasons why local economic development is so complicated. Most of the small farmers are cultivating small areas; they have low levels of knowledge and are badly organized, which reduces productive competitiveness.
To improve these conditions, AgroAndino helps create producers associations of small farmers from the mountainous plateau of Cajamarca. AgroAndino offers them training, technical assistance and consultancy services to improve cultivation methods.
With the commercialization of the products, AgroAndino guarantees fair prices for the small farmers, pushes economic development and succeeds in making a positive change in the region.
